Opening night of Dorothy Spirus’ The Secret Key Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 8p.m., will be a fundraiser to support the 2012 Found Theatre Cynthia Galles Memorial Scholarship, administered through our friends at Soroptimist International of Long Beach. The Found’s founder and brilliant artistic director for over 30 years, Cynthia lost her battle with breast cancer in 2005, but continues to inspire the Long Beach theatre community in myriad ways, including this scholarship created in her honor by friends, family and colleagues in 2010. It is a $1,000 annual grant presented to a Long Beach woman who is working toward an AA or higher degree in theatre or theatre management. (For information or to apply: www.si-LongBeach.org). Please join us for a wildly fun and worthwhile evening.

Tickets: $15 The evening will include refreshments, a short film featuring highlights of Cynthia’s career at The Found, a raffle, and the premiere performance of The Secret Key. Reservations & Info: 562/433-3363 or foundtheatre.org.
