The Studio By Bridget; welcomes you to reform your workout

In the early 1980s, “No pain, no gain,” was the exercise motto coined by one of the queens of aerobics, Jane Fonda. And if you judged the workout at Bridget Georgeson’s studio by the equipment, it may look like you’re in for some torture.
However, don’t let the Pilates Reformers, stability chairs, ladder barrels, spring wall units and TRXs intimidate you. Georgeson, a certified STOTT PILATES instructor who has taught spinning, weight training and pilates for 15 years, says safety and fun are her top priorities for students. After teaching privately in Long Beach for nine years, Georgeson decided to open her first studio, Studio by Bridget, in Marina Pacifica, 6324 E. Pacific Coast Highway, Unit C, on May 8.
Muscles will be challenged and bodies literally reformed, but group exercise, private training, spinning, bootcamps, prenatal and Mommy and Me classes all will occur in spacious luxury — 30-foot floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Alamitos Bay’s canals.
“We’re the first studio in Long Beach to combine TRX, the innovative suspension training method, with Pilates Reformer,” Georgeson said. “It’s total body conditioning with a cardio element.”
The studio also has an outdoor area that will be used for the 6 a.m. bootcamps and private training.
All levels, ages and body types are welcome.
Georgeson is offering new pilates students a free orientation plus 15% off a first package.
