Children’s Popcorn Theatre’s “The True Story of Jack and the Beanstalk” Saturday at Bixby Park

The Long Beach Shakespeare Company’s Shakespeare for Kids by the Sea and Children’s Popcorn Theatre return to the Bixby Park Bandshell Saturday, August 28 for a free theater production for children.

The Children’s Popcorn Theatre’s “The True Story of Jack & the Beanstalk” will be performed at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28th. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket and sack lunches to the performance. The production, part of the 2010 Long Beach Sea Festival, will be sponsored by Z Pizza in Belmont Shore.
