Discovery Tour On Broadway on the Big Red Bus

Explore one of Long Beach’s favorite streets by climbing aboard the Big Red Bus to join the On Broadway Discovery Tour November 16. The tour will showcase the stores, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, bars, services and historical sites along Broadway Avenue.

Hop on the Big Red Bus and see what Long Beach is all about, unique independently owned small business — not the big box shops at the mall. The tour is scheduled just before the start of the holiday shopping season. Tour the Long Beach shopping district to get ideas for checking off your holiday gift list or start creating a wish list of your own.

The Big Red Bus will tour Broadway Thursday, November 19, 2009, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with stops at selected shopping destinations. Business owners will have special events and sales at each location.

Tickets are available for $5, and valet parking for another $5. “Tourists” should meet at Paradise Cafe at 5:30 p.m., the first bus will leave promptly at 6:00 p.m. Paradise Cafe is located at 1800 East Broadway, Long Beach, CA 90803.
