Get The Scoop on Trash at The Sierra Club March Meeting

The Sierra Club will host its regular monthly meeting. This month, Coby Skye will provide a comprehensive presentation about what happens to our trash once we set it on the curb.

Coby Skye is a Senior Civil Engineer working for the Environmental Programs Division of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. He’ll answer the big questions about what happens to your trash, such as whether your bottles and cans really get recycled, and what the future holds for waste management in the 21st Century.

The Sierra Club monthly meeting featuring Coby Skye is Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 7:30 the Environmental Services Bureau, 2929 E Willow St, Long Beach.

Additional Details: The presentation, illustrated by a PowerPoint program, is free and open to the public.

The Long Beach Group is part of the Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club. The group has more than 2,500 members and serves Cerritos, Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood, Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Signal Hill and Seal Beach.
