Trio Céleste

Music at the Point is proud to welcome Trio Céleste to the Grace First Sanctuary this Sunday, November 9 at 3:00 p.m.

When Kevin Loucks and Iryna Krechkovsky came to Grace First in February, they brought a Stradivarius violin, and blew us all away with their incredible performance. This time they are bringing the Stradivarius AND cellist Ross Gasworth as they perform as Trio Céleste. We are confident that we’ll all get blown away again!

Based in Orange County, Trio Céleste is quickly establishing itself as one of the most important chamber music ensembles in the country. Winners of the prestigious Beverly Hills Auditions in Los Angeles, the ensemble has performed extensively throughout North America and Asia and has appeared in collaboration with principal members of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the Afiara String Quartet. Highlights of their 2014 / 2015 season include national and international recital tours in Bangkok, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Toronto.

Trio Céleste is currently Ensemble-in-Residence at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine where they recently presented the complete piano trio works of Ludwig van Beethoven including performances of the Triple Concerto with the UC Irvine Symphony Orchestra at the Irvine Barclay Theater and the Capistrano Conductor’s Institute Orchestra at the Marcus D. Hurlbut Theater in Southern California. In 2013 the ensemble was selected from over four hundred applicants to be Artists-in-Residence at the Grand Canyon National Park with violist Michelle Gasworth where they performed and led educational outreach projects throughout the South Rim.
