Always wanted to take a class but undecided about what to take first? Now is the perfect time to explore your options and see what’s coming up at Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine.

LB Parks invites all residents to see how they can “invest in themselves” at the annual “Class Expo” event on Saturday, August 11. This is an opportunity to meet with instructors and get more information about fun, enriching recreation classes starting this fall. There will be free refreshments and a gift while supplies last.

Attendees will be able to watch demonstrations of several recreation classes including Dog Training, Tap & Jazz Dance, Martial Arts, Singing/Vocal Techniques, Ukulele, and Zumba Fitness. There will also be displays of crochet and other arts.

Those who register for fall classes at the Expo will receive a $5 credit towards a future class.

The annual “Class Expo” takes place on Saturday, August 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at El Dorado Park West Community Center, 2800 Studebaker Road.  For more information about Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Class Expo call (562) 570-3148.
