Artist Micaela Salatino will lead a free art class using recycled materials.

The Brewitt Neighborhood Library will host a free, hands-on art class: Upcycled Eco Art for teens and adults on Saturday, November 13.

Micaela Salatino, Supporting Artist at Long Beach Depot for Creative ReUse, will show how to make three beautiful projects from recycled materials. Create coasters from computers disks, mini books from scrap paper, and a fabric basket from plastic.  Keep your creation or give it as a holiday gift.

The Upcycled Eco Art Class is free, with all recycled materials supplied by Long Beach Public Library and the Long Beach Depot for Creative ReUse.

Teens and adults are invited to participate in the Upcycled Eco Art Class on Saturday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Brewitt Neighborhood Library Community Room
