LBACS serves 600,000 residents and pets in Long Beach, Cerritos, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos and Signal Hill.

Enjoy a delicious meal and raise money for a good cause at the Long Beach Animal Care Services (ACS) fundraiser at the Veggie Grill on Thursday, April 18 from 4-10 p.m. The Veggie Grill is located at 6451 Pacific Coast Highway in The Marketplace in Long Beach — next to Trader Joe’s.

The event is being organized by the Pets Always Worth Saving (PAWS) citizen support group for Long Beach Animal Care Services.

Diners who present an event flier or mention Long Beach Animal Care Services on the evening of April 18 will have a generous 50 percent of their food and beverage purchase donated to Long Beach ACS. The flier is available for download here. The Veggie Grill “makes it fun to eat wholesome” and serves a menu of delicious soups, chilis, entree salads, sandwiches, burgers and deserts that are rich in protein and other nutrients; and free of cholesterol, animal fat and trans fat.
