Want to Work, But Afraid of Losing Your Disability Benefits?

If you, or someone you know, are receiving Disability Benefits and would like to return to work, you will want to attend a no-cost workshop on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at the Career Transition Center. Parents of individuals with disabilities and professionals who work with people with disabilities are welcome.
The workshop will provide important information on how work incentives can help you achieve self-sufficiency, how the Social Security Administration computes trial work periods, and how meeting one-on-one with a Benefits Specialist can provide more individualize assistance.
The workshop is Wednesday, November 24, from 1:30-3:30 pm at the Career Transition Center, 3447 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, CA, 90807. It is open to all people, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual preference, or disability type. Interpreters are available by calling 562.570.3738.
