Spanish Wine & Tapas Tasting at The El Dorado Park Event Center

The El Dorado Golf Course Event Center is delighted to announce an evening celebrating the marvelous wines and food of Spain Thursday November 5 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. under the beautiful El Dorado Golf Course Event Canopy at 2400 Studebaker Road in Long Beach.
The wines of Bodegas Montecillo will be presented for tasting by Certified Specialist of Wine Cody Bergener of The Wine Group. The tasting will consist of 4 2oz tastings, each paired with a special tapas dish, the tasting will also be accompanied by fresh bread and the Spanish Manchego and Mahon cheeses.
The wines being tasted are:
- 2008 Montecillo Verdemar Albarino paired with garlic shrimp
- 2005 Montecillo Crianza paired with sautéed mushrooms
- 2003 Montecillo Reserva paired with pork skewers
- 2001 Montecillo Gran Reserva paired with Tortilla Espanola
The tasting is $15.00 per person and also includes one full glass of your favorite of the four wine choices. The tapas for the tasting will also be available as individual plates for $7.00 each, as well as other menu items. The wines will be available for purchase by the bottle on sight.
