long-beach-roller-derbyLong Beach Roller Derby will host the final bout of their first season on Saturday night, November 13, 2010 at the Queen Mary Dome. The Terminal Island Tootsies will play The Bixby Rollerettes.

After training all year the Terminal Island Tootsies go head to head with Bixby Rollerettes to compete for Long Beach Roller Derby’s season championship title.  Bixby lost by just a hair to the T.I.T.S back in June at the “Re-Pete Offender, “121-127 and are surely out for revenge.  These two teams are coached by sisters, Bio Diesel and Diesel, so rest assured there is no lack of sibling rivalry this time around.

This event is sure to bring in another full house with improved sound, lighting and seating.  There will be plenty to eat and drink, a fantastic pre-game show, half time fire show by Fire Dancing Troupe, Sirena Serpentina, and championship after-party.

There will also be an introduction of best players from each team that make up the all star travel team, The Long Beach Gals, who will be representing Long Beach nationally in 2011. Autograph signing to follow as fans are leaving.
