national-night-out Once again Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance (WANA) will host a National Night Out to Fight Crime Potluck at the mini-Park located between West 21st & Hill Streets west of San Francisco Avenue next to the LA River.

Public is welcome! Bring a neighbor, kids and a lantern! WANA will provide water, soft drinks, coffee, dessert, plates, napkins, and silverware.

Bring a salad, side dish, casserole or main dish to share. WANA will provide a grill and charcoal if you want to BBQ your own hamburgers.

Free Hot Dogs for the first 50 kids to sign-in with an adult.

Meet Long Beach Police Department West Division Commander Joe Levi, Wrigley patrol officers and, maybe our new Chief Jim McDonnell will stop by to say a few words. Former West Division Commander Lumen will be there to accept a certificate of appreciation from WANA.

Representatives from the 54th Assembly District will fingerprint kids for you to take home at no charge. (A neighbor reported that she recently paid $70 to have her grandchildren fingerprinted in case of emergency.)

Show your support for National Night Out by leaving your porch light on and help fight crime by getting to know your neighborhood!
