Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance Will Collect Toys and Food at November Meeting

wrigley area neighborhood allianceThe next meeting of the Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance (WANA) will be Monday, November 21st, 7-9 p.m.at Veterans Park Social Hall, 101 East 28th Street in Long Beach.

The neighborhood meeting will begin with a Meet & Greet from 6:45 to 7:00 p.m. Come enjoy coffee, deserts and other refreshments provided by WANA Volunteers and chat with friends and neighbors.

Mix and mingle with the special guests and speakers Lenny Arkinstall, LB Connect TV and Felton Williams. 

Guests are encouraged to bring canned goods and a new unwrapped toy to be collected for those in need this holiday season. Old and unwanted cell phones are also being collected for Interval House.

WANA is a neighborhood association dedicated to improving the lives in the Wrigley area of Long Beach. The general meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Park Social Hall, 101 East 28th Street. (If the first Monday is a holiday, then the meeting will take place on the second Monday of the month). On-site child care and parking are free.
