Wrigley Association to Hold Annual Christmas Party & Pot Luck

The Wrigley Association will hold its annual Christmas party & pot luck on Monday, December 3rd. Members of the Association, as well as local restaurant and merchants will donate food for the occasion. Birney Elementary School Student Council and Green Team will lead the flag salute. All the elected officials, who represent the Wrigley community have been invited the attend. In addition, the guest speaker will be Elsa Ramos, the Multi Service Coordinator of the City of Long Beach, to speak about 2013 Homeless Count, “Everyone Counts”. Also, she will address the Mayor’s Fund for the Homeless.
This event kicks off the Holiday season in the Wrigley community. Later this month, will be the famous Christmas Tree Lane activities, including the parade. This year’s parade will be Saturday, December 8, 2012. The 4th Annual Snow Day will be held again at Veterans Park on Saturday, December 22 from 11 am to 4 pm.
The Wrigley Association is a neighborhood association dedicated to improving the lives in the Wrigley area of Long Beach. The Association has more than 260 members in the Wrigley neighborhood. The general meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the Veteran’s Park Social Hall, 101 East 28th Street.
