Wrigley Neighborhood Group hosts summer potluck at Veterans Park

Join the Wrigley Neighborhood Group to celebrate summer with a festive potluck and party Monday, July 6 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The potluck will take place at Veterans Park, 101 W. 28th Street.
The Wrigley Neighborhood Potluck will be the perfect occasion to get reacquainted with your neighbors and get to know the three new Wrigley Neighborhood Group board members—Adriana Martinez, Bethel Cope-Vega and Raul Romo. The neighborhood group just elected new officers, so residents are encouraged to take a few moments to discuss their interests and concerns with them.
Before the party begins, the Wrigley Neighborhood Group will host a short presentation on the Harbor Subdivision Transit Corridor Study. Why is this important? It will impact public transportation in the Wrigley area along the 405 and 110 freeways. Come hear what Randy Lamm of the Metro South Bay Area Team has to say about it.
Pollo Campero at the Wrigley Marketplace will provide chicken. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with what you plan to bring to the potluck. (You don’t have to bring a dish to attend.)
Do you have a friend or neighbor you’d like to introduce to the Wrigley Association? Bring them to the party too!
As always, the food co-op table will be up and running, if you have any excess home-grown produce you can bring it in to share and take home some one else’s harvest.
